Working Student: AI Creative Design & Video

Working student · Part timeBerlinRemote-firstEnglish at work

And we’re looking for designers with a feeling for motion, those who love making people feel something and are curious enough to see how far their craft can go with AI. Who care about the story as much as the image, and stay with an idea until it works.

What you’ll do

  • Take a brief through visual ideas and storyboards to finished static ads or short videos.
  • Generate and edit images and footage. Bring the pieces together with the typography and timing the story needs.
  • Make campaign variations for different formats and audiences, with the same care for the last version as the first.
  • Build repeatable creative workflows, and check the finished assets for visual mistakes and consistency with the brand.

What you bring

You’ve already been making things with AI, using Claude Code or Codex alongside tools like fal.ai or Higgsfield. We’re interested in what happens when you connect them: taking an idea through to a finished piece, then making the versions a campaign needs. Sometimes a different format needs another opening, too. Quite a lot of creative work, with the same care for the last version as the first.

That means enjoying the craft of editing, too. Seeing where a generated scene feels off, where the story loses you, and staying with it until it works. If you’re at home in After Effects or other video editing tools, lovely. If you get there another way, we’re just as interested in seeing it.

How we work

We love those who care about the work enough to try another cut or start a scene over. Who have a feeling for what makes an image stay with you, and want to get better at it. You’d be working closely with me on static assets and videos for companies with stories worth telling, giving their offers a face people remember.

What you get

You’d be closely working with me. I’m Berlin-based. I do believe in a remote-first policy, and the importance of in-person meetups alike. It is early days, and that is the offer: freedom in how you work, responsibility from week one.

  • Work on the products and paid campaigns of mission-driven companies. See what happens to the work after you hand it over.
  • Remote-first, with Berlin as home. We meet in person when the work is better for it. The working language is English, and German helps with most of our clients.
  • A part-time working student position. We’ll discuss hours and pay with you.

Let’s

You’re currently at university. Send a few pieces you care about, and tell me what you made and how. Your own experiments are welcome. A few words on what drives you, and when you’d have time to join us, would be good too.

The whole story, straight from Simon: the letter.
